Booking, deposits & payment

When does my booking at the Quellenhof Lazise become binding?
Your booking is binding as soon as you have received our written confirmation of the booking request you sent us in writing. Until then nothing is fixed, so there's plenty of time to think it over.

Do I need to pay a deposit when I book?
As a rule, no. At the Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise you settle your bill at check-out. A deposit of 40% of the total is required only for luxury chalets and suites, for group bookings and for special packages.

How is a deposit refunded if I cancel?
Any deposit already paid is refunded as a voucher, in line with the cancellation terms that apply at the time. We're unable to offer a refund in any other form.

Which payment methods does the Quellenhof Lazise accept?
We accept debit cards, Visa and Mastercard. You're also welcome to pay by bank transfer in advance. Please allow three working days for processing – the funds need to have reached our account by your day of departure.

What does a room cost for single occupancy?
Prices for single occupancy of a room or suite are available on request. Just drop us a line and we'll be glad to put together a personal quote for you.

Is there a tourist tax on top of the room rate?
Yes. The municipality of Lazise charges a tourist tax of €3.50 per person per night for guests aged 14 and over. This is added to the price of your stay.

Which price list applies to my booking?
The current price list published on our website always applies, and supersedes all previous versions. Should the details in your booking confirmation differ, the prices and terms of the website price list take precedence in case of doubt.

Can I buy a gift voucher for the Quellenhof Lazise?
Yes – vouchers for a stay at the Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise can be bought online at any time. An idea for anyone who'd like to give something memorable: time on Lake Garda.

Arrival, parking & shuttle

Where exactly is the Quellenhof Luxury Resort Lazise?
Our five-star resort sits on the south-eastern shore of Lake Garda at Via del Terminon 19, 37017 Lazise (Verona), just a few minutes' walk from the water. The picturesque village of Lazise is around a 30-minute stroll away.

How far is the Quellenhof Lazise from Verona Airport?
Verona is the closest airport, roughly a 20-minute drive away. Venice is about 1.5 hours away and Milan around 2 hours.

Does the Quellenhof Lazise offer an airport or railway station transfer?
Yes. Our Quellenhof Shuttle will collect you at a special rate from the airports of Verona, Venice, Milan Bergamo, Milan Malpensa, and Milan Linate, as well as from the railway stations at Verona, Peschiera del Garda, and Bardolino. Please let us know your transfer details in advance.

Which railway station is closest to the Quellenhof Lazise?
Peschiera del Garda is the nearest station, around 8 kilometres away. Verona Porta Nuova, the city's main station, is roughly 25 kilometres away, with regional trains running from there to Peschiera del Garda.

How do I reach the Quellenhof Lazise by car from Germany or Austria?
Cross the Brenner Pass and take the A22 towards Modena, leaving at the Affi/Lago di Garda Sud exit. From there follow the SR450 towards Peschiera/Verona, take the SP5 exit towards Lazise after 7 km, then continue along Via Verona and Via Zappo to Via del Terminon.

How do I reach the Quellenhof Lazise by car from Switzerland?
Take the Gotthard Tunnel and the A2 to the Chiasso/Como border crossing, then the A9/E35 towards Milan and, from Bergamo/Brescia, the A4 as far as the Peschiera exit. From there follow the SR249 for about 6 kilometres until Via del Terminon branches off to your right.

Can I travel here by coach?
Yes. Long-distance coaches run from Munich (central coach station) to Peschiera del Garda or Bardolino, and from Zurich to Peschiera del Garda or Castelnuovo del Garda. Peschiera del Garda is also easy to reach by coach from many Italian cities, including Venice, Milan and Rome. All of these places are a short drive from the resort, and our Quellenhof Shuttle will happily collect you.

Does the Quellenhof Lazise have a helipad?
Yes, there's a private helipad behind the building, so arriving and departing by helicopter is perfectly straightforward.

Is parking at the Quellenhof Lazise free?
Yes, parking in our underground car park is free of charge. There's no need to call ahead or mention it when you book – your space is included.

Are there charging points for electric cars?
Several charging points (Mennekes connector type) are available at the resort for electric vehicles. Charging is subject to a fee, which is added to your room bill.

Is there a shuttle into the centre of Lazise?
Yes. Our complimentary Quellenhof shuttle service takes you into the centre of Lazise and back again. On request, the shuttle also runs between the Quellenhof Luxury Resort Passeier near Merano and Lazise.

Check-in, check-out & your stay

From what time is my room ready on the day of arrival?
Your suite is ready for you from 3 p.m. If you arrive earlier, our spa world and Bistro La Piazza are open to you beforehand, and we'll happily take your luggage at reception.

By what time do I need to check out?
We kindly ask you to vacate your suite by 11 a.m. After that, the next guests begin arriving – and you, ideally, still have one last morning by the pool.

Is a late check-out possible, and what does it cost?
Yes, subject to availability. A late check-out of your suite until 6 p.m. costs 50% of the room rate. If you'd simply like to use the wellness and spa area for longer, we charge €50.00 per room from 12 noon.

Is there a dress code at the Quellenhof Lazise?
We ask you to dress elegantly for dinner. Every evening meal at our five-star luxury resort is something of an occasion – and may well look the part. During the day, of course, the only rule is to feel comfortable.

Can I request a particular suite or floor?
We're unfortunately unable to guarantee a specific suite number or floor at the time of booking. We'll gladly make a note of your preferences and do our best to accommodate them – the same goes for table requests in the Panorama Restaurant.

Is Wi-Fi included at the Quellenhof Lazise?
Yes, free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort.

What will I find in my room on arrival?
Waiting in your room is a spa bag with a soft bathrobe, towels. and bathing slippers, along with exclusive skincare products from the Dorfer Med range. A selection of international newspapers is available to you digitally.

Is there a welcome evening?
Yes – every Sunday evening we invite you to a welcome aperitif. A lovely moment to settle in and get to know your fellow guests.

Is there a hairdressing salon at the resort?
Yes. There's no need to leave the resort for a hair appointment: our in-house salon will take care of you. Simply book your appointment at reception.

Cancellation & travel insurance

What cancellation terms apply to suites at the Quellenhof Lazise?
Should you not take up your stay, the following terms apply to suites:

  • Up to 4 weeks before arrival: administration fee of 50,00 € per suite booked
  • Up to 11 days before arrival: 40 % of the agreed price of the stay
  • From 10 days to 1 day before arrival: 70 % of the agreed price of the stay
  • In the event of a no-show or early departure: 100 % of the booked price of the stay

What cancellation terms apply to the private villas?
Longer notice periods apply to our exclusive villas:

  • Up to 4 months before arrival: administration fee of 50,00 € per villa booked
  • From 4 months to 2 months before arrival: 40 % of the agreed price of the stay
  • From 2 months to 4 weeks before arrival: 50 % of the agreed price of the stay
  • From 4 weeks to 10 days before arrival: 70 % of the booked price of the stay
  • From 10 days to 1 day before arrival: 80 % of the agreed price of the stay
  • In the event of a no-show or early departure: 100 % of the booked price of the stay

How do I cancel my booking?
We accept cancellations in writing only – most easily by email to info@quellenhof-lazise.it. Cancellation charges are calculated from the date your written notice reaches us. If you have already paid a deposit, we'll refund it as a voucher, in line with the applicable cancellation terms.

Is travel insurance worth taking out?
We do recommend it, so that you're covered in the event of an accident, illness or bereavement. Cover extends to you as well as your children, parents and grandparents. The insurance costs 3 % of the agreed price of your stay, must be taken out at the same time as your room booking, and is available for bookings made from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries.

What do I need to submit if I cancel and have travel insurance?
A medical certificate must be enclosed with your written cancellation by e-mail. Please note that the cost of the travel insurance itself is payable in all cases, including where you cancel more than four weeks before arrival.

Can I change my booking dates free of charge?
Yes – you can rebook free of charge to another date within the same year, up to three weeks before arrival. One thing to bear in mind: once a reservation has been rebooked, free cancellation is no longer possible. From the day of the change, the standard cancellation terms for your type of accommodation apply.

Dining & cuisine

What meals are included in the room rate?
All rates include Quellenhof Gourmet half board: a generous breakfast buffet and a six-course menu with choices in the evening. Breakfast and dinner are served in the Panorama Restaurant, overlooking Lake Garda.

When is breakfast served at the Quellenhof Lazise?
The breakfast buffet is open from 7.30 a.m. to 11 a.m., so you can start the day at your own pace – with freshly baked breads and pastries, cheeses and cured meats, a healthy-choice corner and egg dishes cooked to order at the show kitchen.

What is dinner like?
In the evening our kitchen team spoils you with a six-course Mediterranean menu with choices at every course, accompanied by a salad, cheese, and fruit buffet. Vegetarian dishes are available at each course.

Does the kitchen cater for intolerances and special diets?
Yes. Our chefs prepare menu options for vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, and histamine-free diets. Please let us know about any intolerances or dietary requirements when you book, so we're properly prepared.

Is there anything to eat during the day?
Yes. At lunchtime and in the afternoon, Bistro La Piazza serves light Mediterranean dishes, antipasti, freshly made pasta, homemade ice cream, and cakes from our patisserie. You'll be sitting on our sun-drenched terrace, looking out over the gardens, pools, and olive groves.

Is there a bar at the Quellenhof Lazise?
Several, in fact. Our hotel bar serves signature cocktails, fine spirits and wines; the pool bar at the Infinity Sky Pool pours refreshing drinks; and up on the roof, the Tiki Skybar comes with sunsets over Lake Garda.

How large is the wine selection at the Quellenhof Lazise?
Our cellar holds more than 800 quality wines, chosen by our sommelier – from small local estates to great vintages from well-known producers. It's a range without equal on Lake Garda, and our sommelier is always happy to advise you in person.

Is there a Quellenhof restaurant outside the resort?
Yes – Casa degli Spiriti in Costermano. This late 18th-century residence is owned by the Dorfer family, lies around a 30-minute drive from the Quellenhof Lazise and serves Mediterranean cuisine with breathtaking views over Lake Garda.

Wellness & spa

How big is the spa at the Quellenhof Lazise?
Our wellness world covers 2,000 m², with separate areas for adults and for families. Your pulse slows, your shoulders drop – that's exactly what this place was made for.

How many pools does the Quellenhof Lazise have?
Four: a 25-metre outdoor sports pool, a 21-metre Infinity Sky Pool with lake views in the adults-only area, an outdoor children's pool with two water slides, and a natural bathing lake.

How many saunas does the Quellenhof Lazise have?
Five in total: Finnish saunas, bio-saunas and steam rooms, divided between the adult and family areas. Two of them are reserved exclusively for families.

Are there sauna infusion sessions?
Yes, daily. A particular highlight is the Aufguss ritual in our Finnish event sauna, accompanied by music, carefully chosen aromas and fitting costumes.

Is there an adults-only area?
Yes. The adults-only area includes the 21-metre Infinity Sky Pool with lake views, along with its own saunas and relaxation rooms – a retreat for anyone in search of quiet.

What massages and beauty treatments does the Onda Spa offer?
At the Onda Spa you'll find massages, beauty and couples' treatments, as well as a range of spa packages. For couples there's also the Private Spa Suite – wellness for two, entirely undisturbed.

Are spa treatments included in the room rate?
Use of the entire wellness world, with its pools, saunas and relaxation rooms, is included. Massages, beauty and couples' treatments at the Onda Spa are booked separately – ideally before you arrive, so your preferred time is still free.

Can I visit the spa without staying overnight?
Yes. Our Day Spa on Lake Garda lets you recharge without staying the night.

Family & kids

From what age are children welcome at the Quellenhof Lazise?
We welcome guests from the age of four. Regrettably we're unable to accommodate younger children at our resort – thank you for your understanding.

What does a stay cost for children?
Children and young people sharing with two full-paying adults stay at reduced rates per night:

What does the Quellenhof Lazise offer families?
Families will find spacious family rooms and suites, two family saunas, an outdoor children's pool with two water slides and a playground in the gardens. Our Dependance offers especially generous space – the sort of place where children can simply be children.

Are there family days out nearby?
Yes, several: Gardaland, Caneva World, the Sea Life Aquarium, and Movieland Park are all a short drive away. We're happy to help you plan.

Holidays with your dog

Are dogs allowed at the Quellenhof Lazise?
Yes, your four-legged friend is very welcome. We charge €25.00 per day for their stay (food not included).

Where are dogs not permitted?
Dogs aren't allowed in the wellness areas, on the sunbathing lawns or in the Panorama Restaurant. Everywhere else in the resort and across the extensive gardens, your companion is welcome to join you.

Are there suites where dogs aren't allowed?
Yes. Dogs are not permitted in the Bella Bianca and Bella Bianca al Lago suites, which are finished in white marble with white furniture and accessories. This restriction doesn't apply to any of our other room categories.

Does the Quellenhof Lazise offer dog sitting?
Yes. While you enjoy our dog-free wellness areas, our dog sitters will look after your companion. The charge is €20.00 per hour.

Activities & services

What sports facilities are there at the Quellenhof Lazise?
You'll have the run of a superbly equipped gym and movement studio with supervision, two tennis courts, two padel courts, a football pitch and the 25-metre outdoor sports pool.

Is there an activity and yoga programme?
Yes. Our Feel Moved programme offers yoga and a workout schedule that changes daily, plus personal coaching on request. You'll receive the current week's programme on arrival.

Can I hire a bike at the Quellenhof Lazise?
Bike hire is included, as are two guided mountain bike tours per week. E-bikes are available for a fee.

Does the resort organise boat trips and water sports?
Yes. We'll book and arrange sailing boats and motorboats for you, and can put you in touch with a range of water sports on Lake Garda. For special occasions, we'd recommend a romantic boat trip at sunset.

Can the hotel get me tickets for the Verona Arena?
Yes, we're glad to arrange tickets for performances at the Arena di Verona. Do speak to us in good time, as the most sought-after performances sell out early.

Can I book a wine tour through the Quellenhof Lazise?
Yes, we organise wine tours to the estates around Lake Garda. If you'd rather stay in, you can taste with our sommelier down in the wine cellar.

Is the Quellenhof Lazise suitable for conferences and seminars?
Yes, we have dedicated rooms for conferences and seminars, and we'll gladly put together a tailored proposal for you.

New Year’s Eve & special occassions

What does New Year's Eve cost at the Quellenhof Lazise?
The supplement for New Year's Eve is €190.00 per adult. This includes the aperitif reception, a festive gala menu, fireworks, live music, a midnight snack and brunch on New Year's Day.

What does New Year's Eve cost for children?
For children aged 4 to 13 the supplement is 90,00 €; from the age of 14 the full price of 190,00 € applies.

Is taking part in the New Year's Eve celebration compulsory?
Yes, participation is obligatory for all guests staying with us over New Year.

Can I plan a proposal or celebrate an anniversary at the Quellenhof Lazise?
