Lazise is one of the oldes towns in Italy. It received the rights for independent administration as early as the year 983. The Venetians turned Lazise into an important commercial center and left behind among others a beautiful customs building at the port next to the church of San Nicolò as well as the city wall around the old town. Stroll through the winding alleys, across the large piazza of Lazise and enjoy the sunset at the lake along the promenade. - Castello Scaligero di Lazise: The castle built by the Scalians with its towers lies in a beautiful park. It was built in the 12th and 13th centuries as a fortress, but is now privately owned and can only be visited from the outside.
- Lungolago di Lazise: Beautiful promenade that stretches from Lazise via Bardolino to Garda.
