To experience a performance in the Arena of Veronais spectacular to say the least. In the stands of the impressive amphitheatre, the visitors feel a unique ambience and opera singers give first-class performances in front of magnificent stage sets.
Nabucco, Tosca, Carmen … they have all been on the repertoire of the Verona Opera Festival. AIDA was the first opera to be staged here in 1913 on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Guiseppe Verdi.
